Privacy notice for Houndryx

Houndryx is operated by an individual sole proprietor based in Chile. For privacy, access, correction, deletion or support requests, use the public Houndryx form, select Privacy / data request or Support, and describe your request. A target URL is optional for these requests. Use the email associated with your records; we may need to verify a request. Do not send passwords, private store credentials or payment-card details. Requests are recorded for manual operator review, not automatically resolved.

Founding Pilot applications record your email, public storefront URL, source and timestamps. Privacy/support requests also record your message and request type. The scanner processes public URLs and public page evidence. Internal operational records can include confirmed contact information, exact target scope, sampled public catalog evidence, findings, qualification, reviewed reports and delivery references. Own operational metrics record events, source, time, a hash of the target host and report version. Rate limiting uses IP-derived hashes. Hosting receives connection metadata such as IP addresses and request headers.

We use this information for requests and target validation, assessment, human review, delivery, payment reconciliation, security and support. Base Founding Pilot work requires no private store credentials or connector access, performs no automatic store modifications, and promises no ranking or discovery outcome. Automatic outreach remains disabled.

When enabled, Paddle handles checkout and payments as Merchant of Record under its own privacy policy. Houndryx does not store full card details. The prepared integration uses minimal payment references, settlement totals and authenticated event hashes; it does not persist full webhook bodies in the normal payment ledger. Payment checkout is currently unavailable.

Retention and deletion

Private Houndryx application storage is on its hosting. Unconverted application contacts and unconverted prospect/case records are retained for 90 days from last activity or closure. Own operational events and identifiable metrics are retained for 90 days. Scanner evidence for unconverted leads and duplicated discovery evidence are retained for no more than 30 days. Privacy/support request records are retained for 90 days from their last recorded activity. Converted contact records follow the paid case period below.

IP-derived rate-limit files are removed after 7 days. Expired or abandoned purchase intents are minimized after 90 days from expiry, cancellation or last activity. Paid case and report content is removed or minimized 12 months after delivery or closure. Only minimal transaction metadata needed for reconciliation, idempotency, disputes or support is retained, for no more than 24 months. Webhook event references and fingerprints are retained for 180 days. Explicit temporary raw diagnostics have a maximum of 7 days; own application logs have a maximum of 30 days. No sensitive payment credentials belong in these logs.

Houndryx personal-data backups and cleanup checkpoints expire within 30 days. Data deleted from active storage may remain in a corresponding backup for up to 30 additional days. A documented real legal obligation or active dispute can require a limited exception: only explicitly approved necessary fields are retained, with a recorded reason and review date. This notice does not invent a statutory retention period.

Deletion is enforced by bounded Houndryx maintenance launched in the background by public site activity, at most once per 24 hours. It is not a continuously running cron job; without site activity it runs on the next eligible request. Operators can run the same maintenance explicitly and must monitor its private success status. Hosting-managed logs, backups and transfer locations require separate provider confirmation; the application cleanup does not control them.

The site stores an English/Spanish language preference in your browser local storage until you clear it. The prepared private payment-status access cookie is Secure, HttpOnly and expires after 7 days; the disabled checkout does not issue it. Contact requests are stored locally for human follow-up; this form does not send an automatic email. This notice describes operating practices and does not assert comprehensive legal compliance or establish a governing-law clause.
